I’d never read anything by Mr. Smith before; just picked this one up from the library on a whim. It was actually a lot of fun and reminiscent of Ludlum’s classic Bourne stuff. Set back in the Cold War, a well-written and plotted story of politics, romance, intrigue, and blackmail. Entertaining.
