The Fourth Hand

Irving says that the inspiration for this one came from his wife hearing a news story about a man who got a hand transplant and wondering “what would happen if the donor’s family wanted visitation rights?”. A charming little story in its own way, though Irving is far too sex-obsessed for my tastes.
